Thank you

During the summer of 2007, Clanfield Pre-school along with most of the village was flooded.  We were unable to run the pre-school sessions from the Methodist Church for 4 months due to drying out and restoration work.

Windmill Barn Conference Centre was kind enough to rent us a temporary home for our summer play scheme and the start of the school year in September.  For which we are very grateful.

 

In addition to this we would like to say a big thank you to Fox FM & Barclays Bank for a charitable donation in August.  To the Carterton Lions Club for kindly buying some replacement toys and equipment for us during the summer holidays.  To Forrester’s who donated a home corner construction for the children to enjoy imaginative play, and the Rotary Club who donated money to help with the replacement of storage, equipment and resources.

 

Barclays Bank came back after we had returned to the Methodist Church Hall and developed our outside area with a toy shed and beautiful planters and flowers that the children enjoy every day.

 

Finally, we would like to say a huge thank you to Raena Farley for all of the effort that she has put into getting us back into our ‘home’ as quickly as possible.
